Your progress, made of light

The growing brain

Every answer you check becomes a connection between two neurons floating in your room. Practice makes it brighter and thicker.

Looking up in mixed reality: a garden of small glowing neuron flowers spreads across the ceiling of a living room, ringed by larger level clusters.

The idea

Learning is often described as connections between neurons growing stronger with use. Dendrite Bloom borrows that picture to make your practice visible. A neuron is a point of light; a dendrite is a branching link between two of them; and each puzzle you answer grows or strengthens one link.

It is a picture of your progress in the game, not a measurement of your brain, and the game makes no health claims.

How it grows

Where it lives

Each of the 20 levels grows its own glowing cluster in a ring above you, spaced so neighbouring clusters never touch. Once you reach Infinite Bloom, every session adds a flower to a spiral garden around and above the ring, with petals coloured by the kind of puzzle they practised. Look up, and you can see where you have been.

The world stays still while you work on a puzzle, so the garden is something to look at between puzzles, not something that moves around you.
